Through the bakery our mission is to create simple, delicious rustic breads, savories and sweets, with organic and local ingredients. That is why one day you may stop by the farmers markets and we will have a number of breads and treats that originated in various parts of the world. There is nothing we like more than satisfying a customers longing for home, creating a nostalgic moment, or comforting someone with a delicious bite of one of our baked goods.
We regularly source ingredients from The Flour Studio at Moxie Feed & Seed in Boulder (local flour milling), Jodar Farms, WellFed Farmstead, Garden Sweet Farms, Native Hill, Folks Farm and Seed, Ela Family Farms, Rancho Duranzo, Hazel Dell, and local organic distributor Golden Organics to name a few, as well as our own herb garden. Our sweets are simple, subtle and kissed lightly with organic sugar, non-GMO brown sugar, organic maple syrup or Colorado honey to compliment the fruit, spices and doughs, rather than overpower them.
Not only do we have fresh baked sourdough breads daily, we have a large selection of glutenless (and dairyless, vegan) options for your sweet tooth, whole grain gluten filled sweets and a little something for breakfast and lunch. Grab a bowl of soup (always a vegan and gluten free choice), a Babci Bun or a generous piece of slab pie. In addition to our own handcrafted goodness, you can also grab a bag of fresh milled flour from Moxie, half gallon of milk from Five Freedoms Farm, a dozen pasture raised eggs from Jodar Farms, yogurt, cheese, drinks and more!
