Green Dog Farm CSA

About

Green Dog Farm is owned by Karl Talbot and his wife Dana. Prior to owning Green Dog Farm, Karl was teaching Special Education and Dana was working in high end fashion in Minneapolis. Looking for a change of pace and the meaning of life, they moved to Fort Collins to start a family.  Dana pursued her love of massage and yoga and opened Be Here Now and Karl pursued his interest in agriculture and the CSA model. Karl began working with many of the local nurseries, farms, and CSAs to learn more about the local movement and growing practices. In 2012 with experience in greenhouses, working in the fields, and the administrative duties of running a CSA Karl decided to start Green Dog Farm CSA.

Green Dog Farm is a neighborhood CSA (community supported agriculture)   located in Fort Collins. The main location is southeast of Taft Hill Road and West Vine Drive. The other field is on Elizabeth between Taft Hill Road and Overland Trail. We are committed providing a variety of naturally/organically (not certified) grown produce at an affordable price. Each share is meant for 1-2 people as supplemental produce each week for 20 weeks starting in June.

Green Dog also has a farm stand, open 7 days a week during the season, and they can be found at the Larimer County Farmer’s Market.
