About
Raisin’ Roots Farm is located at Taft Hill & Vine in Fort Collins, Colorado and home to over 40 delicious varieties of produce. We offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares May through October. We welcome volunteers and love to educate about the joys and importance of pesticide-free vegetable growing.
We use heirloom and organic varieties grown in our carefully amended soil. Using companion planting among crops and varieties enables us to maintain a diverse ecosystem full of beneficial insects. This makes it possible for our produce to remain pesticide free as one of our main growing principles.
Raisin’ Roots is a community hub and we invite CSA members to our Farm to Table Dinners, workshops, and other events including local musician performances at the farm throughout the year. You can find us weekly at the Larimer County Farmers Market in Old Town, which is one of the weekly CSA share pickup options. We also have a flock of pastured heritage breed laying hens and offer eggs for sale along with weekly share pickups. For the meat eaters we also raise our own pigs with meat shares available in the fall.
